Mothman was good because it was creepy and mysterious without being bloody and violent. While the story itself (especially the second half) could have been improved a bit, it served it purpose and kept me interesed.

I can't give it 4 stars, but I did like it and was glad I saw it.

This movie was not the thriller it was made out to be. It was slow moving, and a lack of suspence made it unable to hold your attention. Good if you want some popcorn and a nap.

There are a few good moments and too many cliches in "The Mothman Prophecies," a film which is supposed to be based on real incidents. That may be the first to go in this movie. Richard Gere began to investigate some mysterious surroundings involing some alien named "mothman," who keeps predicting the future like 16th century writer Nostradamus.

The film had a few moments and that's about it. The film is a mess.

Some parts made you jump, yet I was almost falling asleep in between those parts! I wouldn't even recommend renting it!
