A powerful drama which is sat the war torn region of Nigerara. Bruce Willis leads his navy SEALS unit into the country to rescue a relief worker. but she refuse to leave with her people, place Willis in the role of Moses. They must guide them a refugee camp without being killed by rebels.

I didn\'t care much about the title \"Tears of the Sun,\" I was told many years in creative writing class that \'tears\' is a weak word that expresses emotional distressed. But other than that the film is good, but be warned, the film is violent.

The best movie Bruce Willis has done sine \"Die Hard\"

A two dimensional action flick, Tears of the Sun tries to be more, but falls short. The finale is mostly just bullets and explosions, along with some conventional tearjerker shots.

The film had important things to say, but the message got lost in the quest for a big box office.

For a afternoon or evening of good action, go see the movie. If you only go to see the best, stay home and turn on a old classic film from the 50\'s on the boob tube.

While not a great movie, it does have some redeeming virtues that make it worth renting.

The sound is of particular note, as your surrounds will get a work-out conveying the tension of jungle warfare. This is often done with a single gunshot whizzing through the air from random directions.

Some scenes are good, some border on great, others approach unbelievability, but for the most part, you don't have to suspend your disbelief too greatly to enjoy this film.
