Entertaining an afternoon enjoying a descent movie. Not great, but not a bad one either.

Not bad, it seemed as if Murphy just didn't care or try hard to make it better.

\"The Haunted Mansion\" has plenty of special effects, but lack the fun. Eddie Murphy didn\'t do much except being thrown around like a prop. Once more, his humor has fallen short of better efforts like \"Sherk.\" The film\'s good looking, but the script is second rate. The film is once more based on an attraction at Disney World. Unlike \"Pirates of the Carribbean,\" \"The Haunted Mansion\" won\'t be drawing crowds.

My family saw the movie. A week later I had forgotten that we had seen it. I guess the impression was minimal. The sets were Disney class phenominal. The story line and cast performance, quite weak.

I would wait for the rental, and preferably, rent it with a discount coupon.
