A very good movie, even the kids can watch it. Action, comedy

Sahara is one of those movies that requires you to go into the experience with the proper expectations. This is not an Indiana Jones movie -- nowhere close. It's not a James Bond movie, but you can probably equate them with equal expectations as of late.

This is a fun action movie with more than a little road trip movie thrown in for good measure. The presence of Steve Zahn as the sidekick should prepare you for the type of movie this is, and it doesn't disappoint. Zahn does a great job, and Matthew McConaughey does a decent job in the lead role. Penelope Cruz's character could have been done by any number of actresses, but she does fine in the role.

Based on the premise of a treasure hunter looking for a historical find rings familiar with National Treasure from this past winter, but this movie is not nearly as entrenched in history as that was. This uses the historical item as a catalyst for getting the lead characters where they are and as a nice way of wrapping up the story at the end.

I'd be very willing to rent this when it comes out on DVD (at least then, it'll be in focus and I'll be able to turn down the lights properly).

Like I said, don't go expecting something it isn't. Go for some lighthearted action comedy, and you'll be glad you did.

A good old-fashioned adventure, which is not as good as the Indiana Jones movies, but it better than "National Treasure." A group of exploreres go to West Africa to find a old Civil War Ship wich had gold in it. Lots of action and plenty of fun too.

Bascially a global rip off of "National Treasure". It is the same plot idea bascially with a few twists but even still it was a good movie. And Steve Zahn is a very funny actor.
