Very disappointing considering the hype surrounding the movie. The only real laughs are in the previews that have been shown over and over again for all of the talk-show interviews.

Went in really trying, really wanting to like this movie and instead just found more and more lame jokes that fell flat and an audience that enjoyed the "Coming Soon" trailers more than the movie itself.

While not a bad film....and one that certainly had some laughs, this movie doesn't rate more than a "Wait For Rental" because there's nothing compelling going on.

The sad part about this movie is the lack of romantic chemistry between Ben Stiller's and Jennifer Aniston's characters. You never once believe that these two could possibly get past a first date, let alone end up together.

Add it to your Netflix queue and enjoy it when it comes out on DVD.

Stiller is solid, but it\'s not one of his better efforts. Aniston is two dimentional. Even Hoffman is below average (for him). Nonetheless, it\'s funny. Largely predictable, but funny. And sappy.

Jennifer Aniston is the only stand out in \"Along Came Polly.\" and I\'m not just say that just because I\'m a big fan of hers. Aniston is a wonderful actress who been in one too many bad films. In \"Rockstar,\" she\'s the only one that came alive and that scene on the dance floor with another woman is a classic. I believe Aniston has a film career if she picked the right roles. and I don\'t watch \"Friends.\" In \"Along Came Polly,\" she was the only stand, because the rest of the movie is dull and unfunny. Ben Stiller is caught in embrassing moments and to him, those are funny scenes. Yeah, not to me. the film only comes alive if Aniston is in the film. Stiller played a married man who falls for Aniston after his wife of a few days, (Debra Messing) falls for a French beach bum (played byHank Azaria). The film doesn\'t have one funny moment. Believe me, I didn\'t laugh once.

Not anywhere near as funny as I expected. Maybe worth the rental fee, but not the price for admission. Wait for the rental.
