A \"See Now\" (instead of just a \"Good\") on the basis of Theron\'s Oscar nominated performance. Could have made my top 10 list, but Ricci\'s character was too unbelievable. In most ways, Theron\'s character was more likable. I guess the director could have been going for that, but I doubt it.

"Monster" is the true story Aileen Wournos a woman that went on a killing spee, becoming the first female serial killer in history. The film tells of her life though images of her childhood and her relationship with Selby and lesbian, played by Christine Ricci. Wournos is played by Charlie Theron in her finest acting hour. She abandom her beauty to play a drifer who with help from grilfriend Shelby she went from town to town killing men asking for sex and money. This isn't the first time that ricci played an lesbian. She played one the HBO movie "The Lamine Project," except she didn't kiss anyone. "Monster" maybe a hard movcie to sit though, but the performances by Theron and Ricci. Seeing her self-destruct in very sad, but "Monster" is a must-see. A companion documentary of Aileen Wournoy is also showen

This was an absolutely TERRIBLE movie and I can't believe it was ever even released for the public to see. This is the kind of movie you watch when . . . well, I guess there's really never a time to watch a movie like this. If you have any intentions of having a good time at the theaters this is NOT the movie for you.

I really enjoy movies that are based on a true story! What a sad life this person had. I think the acting was done very well and very believable! A must see movie! Whether you rent it or go see it at theater...you must see it!
