Very slow going and not that exciting.

This movie took so long to get anywhere, I started losing interest. It's not very scary and at times got pretty stupid. Without giving away the ending, I was quite dissatisfied. I'm sure they could have ended it in a more positive way but, that would be condradictory to the rest of the movie. Wait for the rental or just stay away and save your money.

For any fan of suspense or horror films, this movie will be a big disappointment. If it were not for the great acting and the anticipation of waiting for something to happen, I probably would have fallen asleep. Even an old fashioned "boo" would have helped. The audience (only 7 people) actually sighed at the anti-climatic ending. If you have nothing better to do some evening or can't sleep at night, then you may want to rent this.

"Dark Water" is yet another terrible horror movie that takes us nowhere but down. The only difference is instead of buckets of blood, they replecaed it with buckets of dark water. You may be in a shock to say that it has very little to do with the movie. There are plots that are borrored from such film as "Krammer vs. Krammer" and "Hide and Seek." I found nothing intresting about this film. I felt confused and confusion usually kills bad movies.

Boring *yawn*. Very, very boring.

A ghost story that actually relies on creating atmosphere and building suspense, rather then scary CGI things jumping out at you. Good movie, give it a B.
