When I first herd the king of Zombie movies was doing a new movie...I was so excited! Then after seeing the movie I realized George A. Romero should have stayed away from his director chair, much like George "Yoda is now a coward" Lucus.

To hear him in interviews rip on other directors about the "new" Zomibe movies at one time held some weight...now he has none.

This movie was cheap old zombie tricks, no horror, nothing ever was creepy, and the movie was just plain embarrasing.

"Land of the Dead" is one of the best horror films in many moons. George A. Romero knows how to make a horror movie. Some of the horror film that I saw in the last year were made by people who don't know much about horror movies. I would have like "Hide and Seek," if they got rid of that bath tub fill of blood. But on to "Land," I like the movie despite the grusome violence. Once you get past that, you will like "Land of the Dead." Another great zombie movie.

Doesn\'t rate with 28 Days Later or last years Dawn of the Dead. Not much plot - mostly just a glorified excuse for zombie effects.

Almost a "See Now" but just not quite. Great movie, Romero still knows how to do it. This movie is far superior to the cookie cutter and cliched Dawn of the Dead remake that came out last year. Its as good as Day of the Dead, but not quite as good as Night and the original Dawn. Give it an 8 out of 10.

I thought that this was supposed to be one of the scariest movies of the summer. Instead it was just really slow not scarry at all and overall kinda boring. It might be good to watch in your living room some stormy night but that would be about it. It is kinda predictable and once again kinda a crappy ending.
