It looks like the Sherk series is starting to fall apart. I saw \"Shrek the Third\" and I didn\'t like what I saw. After a funny start, the laugh ran out by the end of the first reel. Shrek and Company are on a search for King Arthur while \"Far Far Away\" is being attacked by the villains in the fairy tale. Unlike the last two shrek movies, I had to dig deep for laughs, which aren\'t there. I like the first two. The only two things that I liked are Donkey\'s Kids, a mix between Donkey and Dragon and the background art. Other than that that all I like. But the product placement ads for \"Shrek the third,\" continue to bother me. they got away with it the last time, but not this time. These product placement are only promoting an empty movie. MaDonald\'s is handling the \"Shrek the Third\" promotions And it not even a Disney movie. So my advice is instead of see \"Shrek the third,\" go down to MacDonald\'s to get a Shrek Happy Meal and get a Shrek glass. And call it a day.

While I feel this isn't as good as the first two, it's a worthy entry into the Shrek franchise. If they decide to make a 4th, which apparently they are, I'd like to see a better villain.

Also I thought I'd mention, that when Steve Jobs got on the board of directors for Disney, he decided McDonalds wouldn't be doing tie-ins for Disney movies anymore. Dreamworks was quick to get on board.

As stated in earlier reviews, this latest version in the Shrek series was probably the worst, but not a bad movie in and of itself. I thought this movie had a more shallow storyline and fewer adult nuances than in previous movies. But still had enough jokes and flow to keep it from "stay away"

Saying that Shrek the Third is not as good as the first two is like telling a mother that her third baby isn't as beautiful as the first two. She really doesn't care.

If you like the Shrek characters, you just want to see what they're up to this time. You don't need to be thrilled beyond belief; you just want a light and enjoyable visit with old friends stuck in new situations. My favorite line was, "Oh no! They've got a piano!" I'm a pianist, so that really turned over my tickle box.

Getting to be a little worn out. Not as good as 1 and 2.

This movie was good, but, a disappointment compared to the other 2.
