Action pack. The chase scene where the top of the car is ripped off and the car is filled with holes from being shot at by an automatic gun and the winshield has been busted out is so far out it isn't even suspensful. Mar 11, 2008
One of the worst action films in years. Pro wrestler John Cena plays an Iraq War Veteran who comes home. Later in the movie he go after some diamond thiefs after they kidnapped his wife from a gas station. There's nothing intresting in this movie. The villains are cardbord cut-ups of other more much better villainsfrom other movies. Buildings keep blowing up to wake up an audience. there's one scene where the villains open fire on Cena's stolen police car by putting a lot of bullets into the car. On top of that, the top of the car was ripped off. Buford T. Justice's police car in "Smokey and the Bandit," had suffered a better fate. if John Cena is going to follow the Rock on the big screen, he shouldn't grab the first script he sees. "The Marine" is a textbook example of a bad action movie. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for The Marine. |
