A little long in the ending, but still a good movie to see.

Scary Scary Scary!

No rhyme or reason. "The room is evil" was the only response given. Nothing connective in the story to relate why or what. If your scared by sudden movements, loud noises or scared looks- then this movie is for you.

The movie takes forever to get started and when the main character is being tormented, it is nothing more than cheap parlor tricks. I was hoping there would be some kind of psychological twist or an "unknown" revealed in the end, but the one provided, (if it truly was one) was disappointing.

Another good horror movie. \"1408\" is a film about a room and a non-believer who sees the truth about that room. the movie is less about blood and gore and more about scares. If a horror movie has more scares than blood and gore, than you\'re seeing is a good horror film. John Crusack plays a writer who\'s go from room to room to confront evil spirits. He came up[on a room that has plenty of deaths in that room. Crusack didn\'t believe the manager (Sammual L. Jackson) until the horrors starting to happen to him. Not only it had plenty of scary moments, but has surprises all-around. \"1408\" is based on a Steven King story and this is the best film based on his works in years. Crusack along with the audience don\'t know what will happen next. I was glued to the screen.
