Surprisingly unfunny. I expected a comedy but found myself getting sleepy. Yes, you have heard the best jokes already in the commercial; don\'t bother. I guess this is why Marcus showed it on the tiny screen. I want my money back (or, at least, the time!) Nov 2, 2006
\"Man of the Year\" is a timely comedy abou a comedian running for President of the United States.\" Although it\'s not as good as Director Barry Levinson\'s 1997 movie \"Wag the Dog,\" it had it\'s moments. Levinson also wrote the screenplay. The real story of the movie is problem with thye electronic balloting. A story that\'s just won\'t go away we get closer to the mid-term elections. Robin Williams is funny, but he\'s not the real reason why I\'m recommending the film. It was Laura Linney\'s over the top performance that really redeemed the film.
