I saw "The Best Years of Our Lives" a few years ago and I was inspired by this movie. this 1946 movie which won the Academy Award for best picture is an turly classic story of GIs coming home from World War Two. They returned home to pick up where they left off when war broke out. Fredic March led a strong cast, but the most memorable role is that of Harold Russell who lost his arms in battle and was replaced with plastic limbs. His performance is powerful, very few supporting players every dominted his role that was as powerful as thge one played by Russell. that movie has played into the heart and souls of Americans who are trying to gret on with life after war. "The Best Years of Our Lives" is a one-of-a-kind movie that has a big heart. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for The Best Years of Our Lives. |
