"Penelope" provides a good lesson of the defination of beauty amiss all the uglyness. A curse on the family which to the birth of Penelope who developed pigs ears and nose. In order to break that curse, she must fall in love. The biggest reason why I recommend the movie is the great performance by Christina Ricci. Not only she made me watched, but she made me care for her character. Reese Witherspoon a great supporting role as her friend. Witherspoon's character with her leather jacket and her hairdoo, is almost mistaken for Alicia Silverstone. I like this film because I care about the the main character. Dispite the fact that she got a pig's snot for a nose, I still see her as a beautiful woman.

What a wonderful chick flick! With theme of "Shallow Hal", but without the raunch. What a treat!
