No love lost between me and that horrible movie called "The Love Guru." This is one movie where the laughs are nowhere in sight. Where body function jokes comes off very easy. MTV tries in vain to heavyly promote the movie, by having Mike Myers host the 2008 MTV Movie Awards and have most of the cast appear on Total Request Live. MTV thinks that the movie is made for the MTV crowd, but my guess is this movie isn't made for anyone. Myers who co-wrote the screenplay, may have wrote his part of the screenplay in the bathroom. there are plenty of penis jokes, poop jokes and bad midget jokes to go around. This movie should have gotten a R rating. Myers plays Pitka who comes to America to help a down and out hockey team repaired the romance between a player and his wife. The romance part of the film doesn't work at all.Jessica Alba again play her character lame, so lame, her character had to talk about a lesbian fling, just to get her character going. Justin Timberlake should go back to singing. the rest of this movie is plain bad. There's no difference between Austin Powers and Pitka, except for the costume. Myer's screenplay should have real jokes and there are none in this movie. He hopes that his audience will forgive him, but got another thing coming.
