I was going to give it a 'wait for the rental" but decided that the movie had good special effects even though it lacked a good script, and the "monster" suffered from bad acting.

A good lookjng needs more than just being good looking. "The wolfman" started looking good, then we get to the final reel and it became very silly. I hate it when that's happens. Benicio Del Toro returns home only to be atatcked by a wolfman. the he becomes a wolfman in his own right and one of the few best scenes in the movie, he launch a murder's rampage though the streets of London. I won't give away the ending of who the other wolfman is. You probaby ignore my review to see this movie. I love to see Emily Brunt in a beautiful turn-of-the-century dress. But I'm a internet film critic, not a fashion critic. A better wolfman movie came from 1994. It's "Wolf" starring Jack Nicholson, which is way better than the film I had seen.

I received more than expected. Very good special effects (gory and violent). There was alot of action throughout the film. The time set was very well done and looked authenic.
Winter movie that is worth your time. Better than raking leaves :)
