Director Jullian Schnabel has directed a powerful masterprice based on a true story. It's the story of a magazine editor name Jean-Dominique Bauby who had a terrible stroke and lies there helpless, except for the use of his eye. The eye is the only thing that he can communicate with. His brain is strong, but he can't movie his body due to the stroke. Though his eye, he can see the world. With nhgis eye, he wrote the book which is the bases of the novel. It's moving and it's sad, but at the same time, it's hopefully. We all know what happen in the end, but I was in the audience pulling for him.

I love this movie. It's one of the best movies in the last three months. "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly." is the trumph of the human spirit.
