A good not great movie. Better then X-Men 3, but not near as good as X-men 2. Some good action sequences, Hugh Jackman and Liev Schrieber give good performances, but too many inconsistencies with the previous movies hurt the movie. Its a movie that could have been much better, with a bit more effort on the writer's part. May 6, 2009
"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" forcus on the life of the most popular superhero of the series. But despite that, the series badly needs a tune-up. I don't even believe in the origin of wolverine. You say that he was born in 1935 and live though the civil War, world War One, two and Vietnam. If he was born in 1835, he could be 174 years old. The oldest human being is 114 years old. I don't buy his origin at all. I don't by the rest of the movie, despite the induction of new mutants into the series. I still like Wolverine and I still like Hugh Jackman's performance of the mutant superhero. But the series is getting a little old and new blood is needed to keep the series alive. May 7, 2009

good plot.some slow parts but a good movie. But you have to be into the X-men to understand. May 26, 2009
Hugh Jackman was great, as usual as Wolverine. I watched the original X-Men cartoons, so I know the history, but I really enjoyed this movie. I really really wish they would have made more room for Ryan Reynolds character, Wade Wilson, he was by far my favorite. Great overall.
