I can recall seeing Emily blunt for the first time in 2006's "The Devil wears Prada." Everytime I heard the song "Suddenly, I See" I think of her and that movie. Now she gave us her best role yet in "the Young Victoria" as Queen Victoria in her early days of her rule. Blunt played that role like it was the performance of a lifetime. She can be commanding, she can be sexy and she gave us a wonderful performance. the film itself is a history lesson of Britain in the 1830's where british citizens and those around her think that she's too young to lead. She prove them wrong. That's not the main point of the movie. the film feature her realtionship with Prince Albert, which is also one of the hallmarks of the movie. I love this movie very much, as well as it's lead emily blunt. Last week, Entertainment Weekly made their Oscar predictions and Blunt isn't almong the five for best actress. I hope she gets an Oscar nomination because in my point of view, she deserves it.
