Filmmaker Oliver Stone likes to make movies of the 1960's. One such film he made is "The Doors." a Drama about a rockband, but more of a rockbank the story of the man behind the band's legend. Jim Morrison. He is played by Val Kilmar in one of the best pwerformances of his career. The movie follow Morrison career from a UCLA film student, to his death at age 27 in France. during his life, he made a lot of memorable song with his band mates the Doors. (Three of my favorite songs from them are "Baby light my Fire," "Roadhouse" and "Riders of the Storm." That song may have been inspired by a tragic car accident inwhich he witnessed as a child ) His relationship with Pamela Courson (played by Meg Ryan in another dramatic role) is strained by Morrison's relationship with other women. His live concerts featured Morrison getting arrested for indecent exposure. Morrrison's life is short but according to Director Stone, his life isn't boring which makes 'The Doors" an intresting film to watch.
