"Let Me In" is based on a book anfd later it became a Swedish movie. I saw the movie over a year and a half ago and I wrote a review of the movie. You can read my review of the Swedish movie in the Big Screen Cinema Guide. "Let Me In" is more of a copy of the Swedish movie and I'm not complaining. The American version is just as good as the Swedish version. Thje plot is the same; a bulliued youth played by Kodi Smit-McPhee befrioends a vampire ngirl played by Chloe Grace Morwtz, who did a far better job than that playing a superhero in that violent movie "Kick-Ass." Moretz is convicing at the vampire girl, she stood out in the movie. This iks the best horror mmovie of the year so far. I love the movie. Why I love thiks movie? The American version is loyal to the Swedish version. I cvan't decide which is better. I love both version. Oct 9, 2010
The movie is quite slow, not much action however, the deeper meaning of the movie is about the loneliness of a young non- athletic boy being bullied by 3 jocks. No one seems to care. You feel his emotional struggles with his non caring parents and friendless life. He needs someone to love and to love him. You want to reach out to him and give him your love and support. This would make a good rental movie Oct 13, 2012
