A worthwhile documentary about a television show that's uniting the people of Afghanistan in times of war. "Afghan Star" is the Afghanistan version of "American Idol." and like "American Idol" it has a strong follwong for "Afghan Star." People in that country who are lucky enough to have a television set are tune in to that show. The movie follows four contestants who battle out on television every week to become the Afghan star. It's a good documentary and you will learn about the culture of the country. also you will enjoy the music. One main reason why I like doctumentaries is that I can peek into a culture of another country. One reason I like this movie very much.
