The reason why they made "Burlesque" is to make money off the songtrack. The movie has the look, but not the substance.Christina Aguilera can sing, but doesn't do much in the acting department. There is singing and dancing, but not much. Unlike "Love and Other Drugs," which they pressed the sexual button, thyis film is afriad of pressing the sexual button. They may explain why they got a PG-13 rating. The plot abpout a farm girl making it big in the city, I saw this sort of film before.
