Delivers what it promises, some gore, some T&A, and a bunch of Piranhas munching on tourists. A fun horror movie that has no illusions about being anything other then a horror movie.

"Piraha" is a bloody but fun movie about a group of prehistoric piranhas being awaken by an explosion and attack anything that's in the water. Last week I derail "The Expendables," because of thye violence and gore and someone will ask me, why I like this film. The answer is that "The Expendables" is cold and brutual with characters did nothing but shoot and blow things up. 'Piranha" is different. It has the same blood and gore, but it's more fun to watch and the character development is better. It's nice to see rRchard Drefuss again. He's from "JHaws" and he became the first victim of the hungary fish. Elisabeth Shue and Ving Rhames are cop who had the impossible duty to patrol the lake on spring break. Yes, there is blood, gore, limbs on open water. But it's a fun mopvie to watch and I like it. I would rather see it in 2D, but seeing it in 3D is fune as well.
