Ed Helms proves himself worthy as leading man in "Cedar Rapids. In thgis comedy Helms plays an insurance agent who is sent to a convinction in Cedar Rapids. When he attends meetings and just flipping had a great time. John C. Reilly is great as one of the insurance people that he befriended. People will see it as just a raunchy movie, but I see it more than that. I see it as a wonderful comedy with lots of heart. Mar 31, 2011
This is a great film on multi-levels. It is a simple story of a straight-arrow with wonderful values who goes to an insurance convention in a "big" (for him) city, Cedar Rapids. He is a likable simpleton who leaves the convention more aware but still true to his values. The film is fun yet profound. It grabbed me. May 27, 2012
