ANACONDA is a fantastic movie and I advise everyone to go and see it. It has GREATvisual effects and is action packed. I give it a rating of 4 out of 5. Jan 25, 2000
I know this movie hasn't been getting good reviews by many so-called movie critics, but I did enjoy this movie - and this is what counts: whether one has enjoyed the film or not. It isn't an excellent movie, merely an entertaining one. You won't be wasting your time if you did watch it. Jan 25, 2000
"Anaconda" is maybe not a potential Academy Award winner but it is worth seeing. For me it is the best movie I saw this summer (actually I saw it 4 times) and I intend to buy the video cassette when it comes to our country. The best in this film, according to me, was Jon Voight's performance although I can say that his character looked a little bit too obviously negative even before it was necessary. Well, I guess that was the idea. This was the first time I saw Jon Voight playing and I got really very fond of him. I have nothing to say about the other actors - they are all good by definition but Voight is better. Sorry. I don't know whether I would have gone to see "Anaconda" 4 times if it hadn't been for him but since he plays what he plays, I can say the movie was really great. Jan 25, 2000
A GREAT Movie indeed! Well, I suppose it is not what a critic would get deadly fond of, but I think most people like it and that is what's important. I am very sorry to confront all those people (critics, my God!) who say that Jon Voight has made a big mistake agreeing to play in this film, but I think he was good enough to prove he deserved the AA and the two or three AAN he has gained. In fact Paul Sarone/Jon Voight was the only character in this movie worth seeing more than once (even the snake was not so interesting for me). No need to say it, really, but my mother and my girlfriend (50 and 18 years old respectively)whose reviews you have probably read, have been in love with him for about two weeks already and every time we go to see the movie (in Bulgaria it is still on) they get very upset. Well, if you haven't seen "Anaconda" yet, go, find the video cassette and enjoy Paul Sarone! Jan 25, 2000
In four words, a movie worth seing. Good special effects, touching music and great cast. That was my first time to see Jon Voight in action (I had only heard his name as the father of Angelina Jolie) and I think he is very good at what he is doing. (He looks quite well for his 58 years but, I guess, that is a typical comment for a woman at 50). I was also surprised to find out that Ice Cube was an actor (a good one, actually) except for a musician. Jonathan Hyde was really amusing sometimes - my family and I really had fun with him and Jon Voight! Go to see "Anaconda" and try not to hate Paul Sarone TOO much... Sep 21, 2003
\"Anaconda\" is a name of a snake who is huge and able to squeeze you until he eats you. In the movie of the title snake, The snake is huge and it\'s up to Jennifer Lopez and her crew to stop him. The crew were doing a documentary on the Amazon river, when a man appears and told them that a giant \"Anaconda\" is nearby. He is played by Jon Voight and he did a great job by playing weird characters, especially this one in the movie. \"Anaconda\" is scary, and what\'s down the river will eat you. \"Anaconda\" is one scary thriller. Bad acting, bad special effects, but still worth renting. Mar 25, 2016
