One of the best musicals I've even saw. "Singin' in the Rain" is a rare musical that you just had to see it more than once. I probaby saw that film a thousand times, but who's counting? I just love the movie. Love it enough to watch it another thousand times.

The film is a tribute to the silent era as it makes it way to the talkies. The film featured a fiction romantic duo of Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) & Lina Lamount (Jean Hagen), whose on screen relationship (and off too) is theatened by the talkies. Lamount's future is clouded because of her weak voice and that's where Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds) comes in. She must talk-over Lamount's voice or her career is destroyed.

We see Hagen's Lamount go from a leading lady to a villian. That's very rare in a motion picture. Donald O'Connor plays Kelly's friand Crosmo Brown who provides most of the film's comedy. Every line O'Connor hits it right on target.

One musical sequence "Make Them Laugh!" is a comic moment in film history. There are plenty of memorable songs and just the tip of the iceberg. Another musical number has Kelly walking home in the rain, singing you guess it. "Singin' in the Rain."

The film has great performances from Kelly, O'Connor, Hagan and Reynolds. If you have never see this movie, now's your chance to see a film musical that you will treasure. Hearing the title of the movie alone is worth a smile.

I have always loved this movie. Even after all these years. It's still worthy a Must see.
