I found the movie to be a tense gripping drama even though everyone knows how it turned out. The viewers were made to feel the immense pressure that most people felt during that time in history. I don't believe everyone fully realizes what really went on behind the scenes. Even if the movie took liberities with the actual events I feel it accurately portrayed how our government works in a crisis.

It showed them as humans who do the right thing and humans who make mistakes and humans who just get lucky. It should bring to light the awesome power this nation and any nation who possess nuclear weapons holds and the responsibility that comes with it.

I recommend this movie to everyone.

Great Movie! This is a must see. I was pretty young when this crisis happened and loved JFK at the time but, this movie gave me even more respect for this man and what our country stands for.

This movie is a suspensful thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What makes it so good is that this actually happened, and you will see how close we came to nuclear war. Go see this movie - Now!

"13 Days" tells the story of the stand-off between the US and the Soviet Union. What I like about this film is the tension that surrounded the film.

The film also featured a series of confornation between the White House and the military. Kevin Coaster plays one of Kennedy's aids, which also ends his losing movie streak.
