Wow, this is a great animation film. The visual scenery was stunning. You can tell that the animators paid a lot of attention to details.

The story line has excitement and the action is constant. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I might go to see it for a second time. I rate this a four star animation movie.

First of all I would like to congradulate Don Bluth for making an awesome movie. It catches your eye at every angle. And it even made it better with all of the cameo voice overs.

If you liked how Heavy Metal looked and felt then you will love this movie (without the nudity of course). And the ending sequence is one of the most brilliant depictions i have ever seen done in animation.

Although I gave the movie a "Good" rating, I did feel the story was lacking.

The ending seemed rushed, as did most of the action scenes. And the entire storyline was never actually explained. what was the big threat to the bad guys? Why did they hate the humans so much?

They start the movie by saying there is some new thing that the people of earth discovered that was the reason for the aliens to attack, but in the end it left me wondering "what was the big deal". The animation was very good, and so was the sound, but the plot was just a rehash of Star Trek II the wrath of Kahn, Battlestar Galactica, and the video game series Wing Comander wraped together in one movie.

See it on the big screen with good sound, but maybe at a matinee, or budget cinema.

"Titan A.E." is wonderfully done animinated film about a kid who is seeking a new world after aliens blew up Earth. A joy to behold that a animated movie like "Ttian A.E." can hold an audience both young and old.
