"Friends with Benefits" is a movie made raunchy look more like cute than being daring; and the people in this movie would rather do something else. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis are a couple would get together and have sex. Yes, there are nudity and sex, but not in a daring way. I love Patricia Clarkson's performance. She is very sexy, but she couldn't do any more. I wish she had. She has sex appeal and I wish she uses it in the movie. Justin Timberlake needs to get more into his character. He keeps playing the smart and cute character. Mila Kunis is the only thing that giving life to this movie. After "The Book of Eli" and "Black Swan," Kunis deserves better.I deserve better. I love the photoshots of New York City and Los Angeles. Apart from that, there's very little to like about this movie.

This is a passable rental, starring two people that we want to see together, which is pretty much par for the course for romantic comedies. It is nowhere near as good as the best 90s rom-coms, but it'll do in a pinch as you're trying to scroll through streaming choices. The fact that there are plenty of very good supporting characters acted by the likes of Richard Jenkins, Patricia Clarkson, and more doesn't hurt either.

Bonus points for watching this and 'No Strings Attached' with Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, and comparing and contrasting the two nearly-identical story ideas that were released in the same year.
