From the director of the last four Harry Potter films, David Yates brings us yet another completely arbitrary live action reboot of an animated Disney film. Many of the performances in this movie were good, specifically Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson. While Margot Robbie is worth noting as being a part of the film, she's phoning it in and doesn't seem committed. The Visuals are impressive enough, but where the movie falls apart is in the pacing and story itself. The plot just isn't interesting enough to keep the attention through the entirety of a movie that feels 30 minutes too long.

"The Legend of Tarzan" is the third movie in the last 48 years. It seems that we're getting a Tarzan movie every 16 years. "Graystroke" which came out in 1984, I didn't quite like the movie. One reason is the dubbing of the voice of Andie MacDowell into the voice of Glen Close. Then came the 1999 Disney animated movie and I like it very much. Then came the 2016 version of the movie is quite good despite a few naysayers. The film started out with the origin which is not needed. But the film takes off when Greystroke better known as Tarzan went back to the congo to battle people who use the country's railroad for thei own good. Alexander Sharsgard is wonderful as Tarzan and Margo Robbie as his love interest. Sammual L. Jackson also appears in the movie which is also helpful to the movie. I like the movie not just for it's cinematography which is very good, but the relationship between him and the animals who had trust in him. it's a good movie if you don't expect much.
