Movies will be showing again soon at the movie theater in the Market Arcade on Main Street in Buffalo, New York.
The theater closed in December, but will reopen in April as the Scene One - Market Arcade 8. It will be the newest location for Scene One Entertainment, which operates locations in New York, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Colorado under the Scene One and BTM brands.
The news was announced in late February on multiple news outlets (see list below), including a story published by Buffalo Toronto Public Media, where Scene One's owner and CEO Joe Masher was quoted as saying:
I could not be more excited than to take over this incredible theater right in Buffalo. Scene One has been committed to the moviegoing experience, particularly in downtowns. The Market Arcade 8 fits perfectly in our vision for bringing filmgoers to the movies.
Where to Watch Movies on the Big Screen
Until it reopens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the North Park Theatre and the Regal Elmwood Center.
