The Calvert Drive-In in Calvert City, Kentucky closed in 2021 and did not reopen for the 2022 season.

According to an article published recently in the West Kentucky Star, the Harrington family has decided to sell the single-screen drive-in movie theater.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Market House Theatre and the Maiden Alley Cinema in Paducah. To see a movie under the stars like you could at the Calvert Drive-In, you'll need to go a little further. The closest drive-ins we can find are the Birdsong Drive-In Theater in Camden, Tennessee and the Rock 'n' Roll Drive-In in Chaffee, Missouri, which are both more than 70 miles away.
