Moviegoers in Clarion, Pennsylvania have had to travel to watch movies on the big screen ever since the movie theater at the Clarion Mall closed two years ago, but that's about to change!

The movie theater in the mall closed in January 2024 as the AMC Classic Clarion 7. That left movie fans having to travel more than a half hour away if the Moonlite Drive-In in Brookville was closed (they don't show many movies this time of year, to be sure).

The good news is that the movie theater is planning to reopen in time for Valentine's Day weekend as the Golden Ticket Cinemas - Clarion 7. It will be operated by Golden Ticket Cinemas, which operates a location in DuBois and 20 more around the country.
