The movie theater behind the Snowden Square shopping center in Columbia, Maryland is changing operators again. Located on the southeast corner of the interchange of the Snowden River Parkway and Robert Fulton Drive, the movie theater has been known as the Cinemark Columbia Snowden and ScreenX since August 2023, when it took over the operation from Regal.

The last day for Cinemark was Thursday, April 17, 2025. The new operator was announced to be Phoenix Theatres Entertainment, LLC, which operates movie theaters in ten states.

The Phoenix Theatres - Columbia Snowden 14 + ScreenX is the company's second location in Maryland. It was expected to open immediately after Cinemark gave up the keys, but as of this article's writing, showtimes were not available.
