The Highway 18 Outdoor Theatre in Jefferson, Wisconsin is for sale.

Located on Highway 18 just west of Jefferson, the theater is about 30 miles east of downtown Madison and 53 miles west of Milwaukee. It is owned by Lee Burgess, who is quoted in a news story reported on recently by WMTV (see below) as saying "it's time to pass the torch."

The outdoor theater was built in 1953 and is one of only ten drive-ins left operating in Wisconsin. The next closest drive-in is the Sky-Vu Drive-In Theatre in Monroe, which is about 47 miles away.

The nearly 20-acre property and the business, which includes a 90' wide screen, pole space for 540 cars, drive-in speakers, concession building, two digital projectors, and more is available for $895,000. See the real estate listing for more details.
