A closed sign will be hung soon on the doors of the Premiere Cinemas - Fashion Square in Orlando, Florida.

The news was announced on the website for Premiere Cinemas, which operates the theater, that the theater will be closing March 12, 2026:

Premiere Cinema 14 Fashion Square will be closing. March 12th is our last day of operations as Orlando Fashion Square prepares to commence its next phase of future redevelopment. We are incredibly grateful for the years of support from our guests and the community.

Thank you for sharing your love of movies with us, it has truly been our pleasure to serve you.

The same message was posted today to the theater's Facebook page, along with instructions for gift card holders to use them before the theater closes or be forced to visit one of the company's other locations. No refund information was provided.

Where to Watch Movies on the Big Screen

Once it closes, however, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the CineDome & Digital Adventure Theater in Orlando and the Aloma Cinema Grill in Winter Park. The closest Premiere Cinemas location is the Premiere Cinemas - Plant City Premiere Lux 8 and Pizza Pub, which is more than 60 miles down I-4 toward Tampa.
