The Thomson Twin Cinema in Thomson, Georgia has reopened five years after closing its doors.
According to a recent news article (see below), the new owner is Benjamin Cranford, who took over the space about a year ago. He grew up watching movies at the theater and dreamed about owning it someday. The theater will have one screening room and the second room will host concerts and live performances. It

Until now, moviegoers in the area needed to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the GTC Evans Stadium Cinemas 14 in Evans and the Regal Augusta Exchange in Augusta.
