The Regal Warren Old Town in Wichita, Kansas closed in July 2023, but the movie theater has now reopened under new management as the Boulevard Theatres at Old Town.
Located in the heart of Wichita, the Old Town area features plenty of opportunities for shopping, dining, drinking, and hotels. The movie theater originally opened in 2003 as the Warren Old Town Theatre & Grill. It was later known as the Warren OldTown Theatre Grill after a remodeling project was completed in 2009. Regal purchased the theater in 2017 and renamed it to the Warren Old Town 7. Regal was purchased by Cineworld shortly thereafter but kept the branding the same. In 2022, Cineworld filed for bankruptcy protection and began closing locations. Less than a year later, the Old Town location closed its doors.
The theater is now being operated by Boulevard Theatres, which also operates the Boulevard Theatres at Towne West in Wichita. That location was also a former Regal movie theater which the company took over in 2022.
