IPIC Theaters, LLC announced recently that it plans to sell its assets through a voluntary Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. According to a press release issued by the company (see below), it plans to continue to conduct business to maximize its value. However, the company will not guarantee employment for its employees after the notice period of the WARN notice. Theater Openings & Improvements
Movies haven't been showing in Paradise, California since the Paradise Cinema 7 closed after the Camp Fire caused widespread destruction in 2018. But that vacancy has been filled. Nearly eight years later, two movie screens are back up and running as The Gathering Cinema. Located on Clark Road, the movie theater held its Grand Opening on March 7, 2026. The Route One Cinema Pub in North Attleboro, Massachusetts has closed.
