Moviegoers in northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico will be glad to hear that they have a new movie theater in the area!

The Flix Brewhouse - Albuquerque Tramway opened May 2, 2025 along Tramway Boulevard and Indian School Road. It is in the location of the former Regal UA High Ridge, which closed in January 2023, and offers seven movie screens, a full kitchen, and a brewery. 

Flix Brewhouse currently operates ten other theaters around the country, including the Flix Brewhouse - Albuquerque on the northeast side. The company describes its locations as being "the only dine-in movie theater brewpub combination - anywhere." Along with first-run movies, past hits are offered to entertain audiences as part of their "Flix Picks" program, and daily promotions make it easy to take in a movie and enjoy food and drink selections.

This location was announced in 2023 and was expected to open in the first half of 2024. We started hearing rumblings about its opening this February, so it's good to hear about its debut!

Showtimes

Until now, people in the area needed to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the ICON Cinema - 4 Hills and the Regal Winrock IMAX & RPX.
