All movie theaters owned/operated by Zyacorp Inc. are closed permanently, effective February 21, 2021, according to multiple news reports.

A press release from the company included the following statement:

To the thousands of ‘Cinemagicians’ who have joined us in providing the magic of movies on the big screen over the past two decades and the generations of movie goers who we have served, we thank you for being part of our family. It has been an honor and a privilege to provide our communities with the magic of cinema.

The company operated movie theaters under the Cinemagic brand name in three states:

Maine

• The Cinemagic & IMAX in Saco -- Saco
• Cinemagic Grand Stadium at Clarks Pond -- South Portland
• Cinemagic Stadium 16 -- Westbrook

Massachusetts

• Cinemagic Stadium 9 -- Salisbury
• Cinemagic in Sturbridge -- Sturbridge

New Hampshire

• The Cinemagic & IMAX in Hooksett -- Hooksett
• Cinemagic Merrimack 12 -- Merrimack
• Cinemagic Stadium 10 Theater -- Portsmouth

Earlier this month, the company had announced that it would close its theaters temporarily until early spring.
