The Movie Tavern - Trexlertown in Allentown, Pennsylvania will be opening August 3, 2018, according to the theater's official web site.

The eleven-screen movie theater is located at 6150 Hamilton Boulevard, about eight miles southwest of downtown Allentown. According to the theater's site, moviegoers will enjoy dining service with "chef-driven menus" and adult beverages, including mixed drinks and craft beer. All eleven auditoriums will feature luxury reclining seats.

This will be the 24th location for Movie Tavern, with movie theaters in Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. The closest is the Movie Tavern - Providence Town Center in Collegeville, about 27 miles away.

Until it opens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the New Vision Tilghman Square 8 (about two miles away on the east side of I-476).
