The IPIC Atlanta in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia is opening to the public December 17, 2020.

The nine-screen movie theater is located in the Colony Square shopping center at the corner of 14th and Peachtree Streets, about three miles north of downtown Atlanta.

IPIC is known for combining movies and dining, and this location is no different. While enjoying the latest blockbuster and other movies, guests have the option of getting restaurant menu items, cocktails, and traditional movie snacks delivered to their seats. By the way, those seats are described by the company as "Premium Plus reclining leather seating Pods," which you can see in the photo below.

For even more dining options, a new Italian restaurant called Serena Pastifico will be opening in 2021, featuring "authentic Italian cuisine including homemade pasta and simple and fresh ingredients."

The theater's nine auditoriums will seat between 18 to 72 people. Some are equipped with 4K Digital Cinema Projection systems. Seating may be reserved. The auditoriums are available for special events and private rentals.

Until now, moviegoers in the area needed to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 16 IMAX, RPX & VIP and the Midtown Art Cinema in Atlanta.
