The Al. Ringling Theatre in Baraboo, Wisconsin was built in 1915 by Al. Ringling and his brothers of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Located near Wisconsin Dells, about 33 miles northwest of Madison, Baraboo is also the historic home of the Ringling Brothers Circus and Circus World, a museum dedicated to the history of the American Circus.

Today, the theater is a performing arts center which has a schedule of movie showings, theater performances, and live music acts. It provides tours between June and September, and it can host weddings as well. Having your name up in lights on the marquee is a great way to welcome up to 644 of your closest friends and family for a wedding not soon forgotten!

The theater's marquee absolutely illuminates the downtown area from its position on 4th Avenue across from the county courthouse. You really need to see it in the dark to appreciate it!

We visited Baraboo recently and have more than a dozen photos, so even if you can't make it to the area yourself, you can get a sense for what it looks like. We're hoping to take a tour soon and provide photos of the inside as well.

You can find all the photos we have so far on the Photo Gallery page for the Al. Ringling Theatre.
