The former AMC Classic Batesville 7 in Batesville, Arkansas has reopened under new ownership as the Oaks 7 VIP Cinema.
The theater's Facebook page welcomed new customers to the theater on January 3, 2020 to see the improvements that were made after Theatre Group Inc. took over, which includes fresh paint, updated signage, upgraded sound systems, and new seats.
According to an article published in December, the theater closed in early December 2018 when the Oaks II shopping center did not renew the lease with AMC Entertainment.

The company also operates four other locations in Arkansas: the Cabot 8 VIP Cinema, Hot Springs 8 VIP Cinema , Riverdale 10 VIP Cinema, and the Searcy 8 VIP Cinema.
