The AMC Dine-in Buckhead 6 in Buckhead, Georgia has closed. The last time we received showtimes updates for the theater was July 12, 2021.
Located about seven miles north of downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Road NE, the theater originally opened in 1976 as the Tower Place 6. In 1997, it debuted as the AMC Buckhead Backlot Cinema & Cafe. It was later known as the AMC Buckhead Backlot 6, which then reopened as the AMC Fork & Screen Buckhead in 2008. The branding changed to "Dine-in" in 2017, which is much easier to say and advertise.
The AMC website simply states "AMC DINE-IN Buckhead 6 Has Permanently Closed" and encourages the visitor to patronize the AMC Phipps Plaza 14, which is less than a mile away.
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the AMC Phipps Plaza 14 in Atlanta and Regal Tara Cinemas in Atlanta and NCG - Brookhaven in Atlanta.
