The Buffalo Cinema in Buffalo, Minnesota has closed. The following message was posted on the theater's web site:
Effective August 24, 2018, the Buffalo Cinema will no longer be part of the Five Star Cinemas, LLC group of theaters.
Valid Movie Mania Rewards and Gift Cards from Five Star Cinemas can be redeemed at our Chanhassen and Excelsior locations.
Thank you for your patronage.
The theater was operated by Five Star Cinemas, which also operates the Chanhassen Cinema in Chanhassen and the Excelsior Dock Cinema 3 in Excelsior.
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Emagine Monticello and the Emagine Delano.
