The remaining movie theaters operated by Center Cinemas have closed recently.

The Allred 5 Theater in Pryor, Oklahoma closed January 4, 2026, and the Cinema 7 of Grove in Grove, Oklahoma and the Siloam Springs 6 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas stopped showing movies January 8, 2026. The theaters are about 40-50 miles apart on the Oklahoma-Arkansas border.

The Allred 5 Theater consists of two buildings: the main building which dates back to 1914, 1915, or 1916 (depending on which account you read), and an annex that is a few buildings down the street which was added in 2002. Its closure was announced on the theater's Facebook page a few days prior:

We are closing the curtain on our theatre career! We will have two showtimes today and two showtimes tomorrow. Then we will close our doors. Thank you for giving us a busy holiday season and a high note to end on. We appreciate all of you who have supported us since 2012.

The property is for sale.

The closures follow the sale of the company's location along Historic Route 66 in Vinita, Oklahoma in July 2025. The former Center Theatre of Vinita was purchased and reopened as the Center Theater on 66.

The sale and these closures mark the end of the Center Cinemas as a movie exhibitor in the Oklahoma and Arkansas area.

Movie Theaters For Sale

The three recently-closed locations are for sale. 

The downtown Pryor movie theater is for sale, with each building being listed separately. The primary 10,857 square foot theater at 225 East Graham Avenue is listed for $200,000, and the same listing mentions that the annex two doors to the west is priced separately at $100,000.

The Grove location's real estate listing shows the 19,487 square foot building and its 4.5 acre property being available for $1.35 million. The 17,979 square foot Siloam Springs location is on 4.5 acres and is currently for sale for $1.75 million. The properties have been on the market for more than 300 days.

Where to Watch Movies on the Big Screen

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the B & B Claremore Cinema 8 in Claremore, the Center Theater on 66 in Vinita, and the AMC Classic Owasso 12 in Owasso.

Moviegoers in the Grove area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the B & B Miami Cineplex in Miami and the Flick Theatre in Anderson, Missouri.

Moviegoers in the Siloam Springs area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Malco Springdale Cinema Grill in Springdale.
