The AMC Classic Chambersburg 7 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania has closed.
Located in the Chambersburg Mall near I-81 and Black Gap Road, the last time we received showtimes updates for the theater was Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Cumberland Drive-In in Newville and the Warehouse Cinemas - Leitersburg in Hagerstown, Maryland. If you have AMC gift cards to use, the closest AMC locations are the AMC Classic Hampden 8 in Mechanicsburg and the AMC Classic Camp Hill 12 in Camp Hill. Both are more than 35 miles away.
Theater History
According to our records, the theater originally opened April 20, 1984 as the Cinemas IV under the management of Manos Enterprises Inc. On April 10, 1998, it opened as the Carmike Cinema 7 - Chambersburg Mall. It became the AMC Classic Chambersburg 7 in March 2017 after AMC acquired Carmike Cinemas.
